Exclusive Student Event – Careers in Marketing
Wellington Marketing Students – this one is for you!
What are hiring managers actually looking for?
How do you stand out in a sea of marketing graduates?
And how is AI changing the skills employers expect?
Join us for a straight-talking Careers in Marketing panel hosted by the Marketing Association in collaboration with the Victoria University Marketing Club.
This session focuses on what doesn’t always get covered in class. Our panel of senior marketers and hiring managers will share practical advice on breaking into the industry, what makes an application memorable, the mistakes graduates often make, and how AI is reshaping marketing roles and recruitment processes.
Whether you’re applying for internships, graduate roles, or your first full-time job, this is your chance to get honest insights, ask questions, and understand how to position yourself for success in a changing industry.
