This intensive workshop covers all the key marketing foundations essential to understanding how to market any business and put into place a solid marketing plan.

You’ll learn the basics of brand strategy that you can apply to a business, corporate or non-profit (or perhaps just a good idea).

At the beginning of the workshop, you will be provided with a detailed marketing plan template that can be completed as we go through the following topics:

Part 1: Situation Analysis
•    Why understanding your customers is critical to your future success
•    What you offer, to whom and why customers should care (a clue: it’s all about value!)
•    What you are good at, and your competition is not – Your SWOT analysis
•    Sourcing and understanding global trends that can impact your business

Part 2: Brand Strategy
•    How to segment and target your market
•    Why selecting your positioning makes all the difference between success and failure

Part 3: Value Creation Mix
•    Branding and how this can be leveraged
•    How to create, deliver and communicate value
•    Understanding touchpoints and funnels to engage your customer
•    What you need to know to market services effectively

If you are new to a marketing role, wish to get a better overall understanding of the importance of marketing or need a refresher to boost your confidence then this is the workshop for you.

 Online Course Format
This workshop is also offered in an online format. A 90-minute live session will be held once each week over 4 weeks. The facilitator will present that week's topic live online with other participants. There will also be activities and resources to support your learning.
