Delivering on Your Brand Promise this Christmas
As the festive lights start twinkling, we know the end of the year is the busiest time for many marketers.
The holiday season can make or break your annual commercial results. With the increasing number of shopping events towards the end of the year - Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Singles Day, and before we even get to Christmas - it can feel like one sales promotion after another in a whirlwind of tinsel and end of year events.
To wrap up the year and to get the conversations flowing as the seasonal build-up begins, we're beaming live from Auckland, a four-person panel of experienced retail, CX, behavioural science, and marketing professionals.
They'll discuss how AI can help... not Artificial Intelligence but Authentic Intelligence. Discover how you can use your understanding of your brand, your customers and consumer behaviour to make sure you're still delivering on your brand and CX, while maximising the commercial outcomes. It's like stuffing your marketing stocking with insights!
Join us for festive drinks and tasty nibbles at the Laneway, Sudima Hotel in central Christchurch on Tuesday 26th November from 5pm - 7.30pm and raise a toast to another busy year. Let's jingle and mingle and make this the 'Off the Clock' highlight of the year!
Thank you to Mosh Social Media and Dark Matter for sponsoring our merry event!
The Marketing Association’s Southern Committee invites local marketers to join them for an evening of informal networking & sharing of marketing insights!

Panel Moderator
Kevin is a B2B technology marketing specialist with nearly two decades of experience working across startup and corporate companies in New Zealand and the United States.
His background includes both agency and in-house roles, starting in public relations before branching out into the wider marketing discipline. This enables him to ground his approach to CX with the end user in mind and in creating connections with customers and users.
He is the newest member of MA’s Brand and Customer Special Interest Group and looks forward to bringing a focus on these vital areas to the wider Marketing Association community.
Juanita Neville-Te Rito
Managing Director & Founder, RX Group
Juanita Neville-Te Rito is a highly respected retail strategist, business leader, and thought provocateur with over 30 years of experience across both Australia and New Zealand. As the founder of RX Group, a Trans-Tasman strategic retail consultancy based in Auckland, Juanita has shaped the go-to-market strategies of companies such as Woolworths, Placemakers, Life & Unichem Pharmacy, BedsRUs, BK, Farmlands, Animates among countless others.
In her time on “the other side of retail” as a C-Suite executive, Juanita has driven transformative strategies for major brands like Countdown, Woolworths, The Warehouse Group, Yum Brands (Pizza Hut, KFC), and Noel Leeming. Under her leadership many interesting things have happened in retail; onecard was launched, Mr Pencil was taken out and let’s just say there was “consolidation” in the pizza industry. She has seen and experienced, the good, the bad and the ugly.
Juanita’s extensive global networks and retail travels, combined with her broad C-suite experience, give her a unique perspective on how brands can deliver authentic customer experiences, even under the most demanding circumstances. Her practical strategies and enthusiasm for driving growth make her a compelling speaker and panellist.
