Each year, the Marketing Association organises a huge range of events, conferences, and awards.
Our aim is to showcase marketing brilliance, to inspire and challenge marketers to think bigger, and to create a connected marketing community.
The Marketing Association offers a wide variety of events throughout the year across New Zealand, with events in Christchurch, Hamilton, Wellington, Auckland, and Dunedin.
MA events include the popular Brainy Breakfasts, networking events, CMO Forums, Sunrise Sessions, Knowledge Bites, Webinars, Student/Emerging Marketers events, and Local Love – Marketing For Good sessions to give back to charities and SMEs.
Our events are supported by MA’s Special Interest Groups and Regional Committees.
The Marketing Association produces some of our country’s largest annual marketing conferences and prides itself on and producing high quality experiences for our attendees.
The MA team identifies and hosts high calibre local and international speakers who are thought leaders in their subject matter and can showcase inspiring examples of marketing excellence.
MA conferences include Digital Day Out, Smarter Data, The CX Conference, Women in Marketing, B2B Marketing, Marketing South, Marketing That Matters, and Marketing Law.
Our conferences are held in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch – and are developed in conjunction with Advisory Boards of industry practitioners and experts.
The Marketing Association runs two awards programmes each year.
The TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards in association with NZ Marketing Magazine and the NZDM Awards.
Both awards nights are held in Auckland with the marketing community coming together to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding talent in our industry.
