FIND OUT MOREFacilitator, Jen Kirchhofer
Head of Marketing, Fleetpin
As a well-rounded, passionate marketing leader and expert, Jen began her digital marketing career in 2008; prior to that, she worked for the Better Business Bureau, a small advertising/media buying agency, and her first job out of university was as a legal assistant. However, since Jen began her marketing tech (i.e. mar tech) career, she hasn't looked back—she says, though, that when she really thinks about it, she’s been a
marketer and into marketing her entire life, and she loves being able to continually grow, learn, and evolve in her career. Jen has a strong focus on email, lifecycle and journey management, copy and content writing, marketing automation, and strategy,
but is able to hold her own in myriad groups, scenarios, team structures, and across channels, platforms, and verticals.

Originally from northeast Indiana in the USA, Jen and her brown rescue dog, Jill, moved to Auckland, New Zealand from San Francisco in 2018 when she accepted a job that moved them both on a talent visa and she earned her New Zealand permanent residency in 2021. After Auckland, Jen and Jill moved to rural Central Otago in the Maniototo and lived at a country pub, carrying on marketing work and teaching but also
serving Speight’s to the locals a few days per week. They now live in Christchurch, where Jen is Head of Marketing for Fleetpin. Both of them absolutely love life in NZ and
adventure and explore as often as possible.
She’s always loved consulting and freelance work, and after working with clients and on projects in that capacity off and on for many years, she started her own consulting company, Brown Dog Brand, in January 2021 and she now manages a global client portfolio of work. Brown Dog Brand is, of course, named after the brown dog, Jill, as
she’s gone to work with Jen for years, and she knows more about marketing than many humans—a savvy barketing manager who also knows a meeting is over when laptops close.
Jen also volunteers with the Department of Corrections in Christchurch, working with
men in prison to help them prepare for a job search and employment once they’re
released.
