Ben Reid is a strategist, creative leader, and problem-solver with over 25 years of experience in the creative industry. Beginning his career as a designer, evolving into a creative director, and now serving as Head of Strategy at Milk, Ben works directly with businesses to solve complex challenges - from external brand positioning to internal culture and engagement.
As a founding partner of Milk, he has led transformative projects for brands like Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Colgate, Sanitarium, Asahi, Caterpillar and Fonterra, balancing strategic clarity with creative impact. His expertise lies in leveraging creativity as a business tool, helping brands navigate change, connect with audiences, and build long-term value. Ben’s work has been consistently recognised on the global stage.
In 2024, Milk won Best in Show at the AGDA Design Awards in Melbourne, along with 2 distinctions and 6 merits. In 2023, Milk received the Purple Pin for Graphics at the Best Awards, alongside 3 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze pins. The agency has also seen continued success at D&AD - ranking 11th in the world in 2021 - along with the Dieline Awards in the US and the Best Awards, earning recognition as one of Australasia’s most awarded design agencies.
