Brand Promises, but CX Delivers
The data shows an effective brand strategy, developed from customer insight, is essential for long term marketing effectiveness.
You've done your research, developed a compelling customer insight led brand promise and created a brand that's distinct from your competitors. So what's next? The best brand strategy in the world will fail if the organisation doesn't deliver against it. This is where CX is crucial. Your brand promise is just words until your customers experience what you are promising for themselves, but many organisations fail to make the direct connection between brand and CX leaving customers feeling let down. And a brand will never be able to deliver if its employees are not on board.
At April's Monthly Marketing Meetup, brought to you by the MA's Brand & Customer Special Interest Group, learn how you can align your external brand, your CX and your internal brand to create an experience that really delivers.
Our panel of experts will share their experience in creating cohesive brands that resonate with employees, customers and the wider public and ultimately lead to organistional success.
You’ll find plenty of opportunities to chat to everyone, share your own experiences, ask questions and discuss the topic at hand with the group.
The Monthly Marketing Meetups are proudly in partnership with Contagion.

Panellist
Imogen Worsp
Head of Purpose Strategy
Kiwibank
Imogen has spent the last 20 years bridging the gap between brand marketing and customer experience (CX), working across iconic NZ and international brands like Elle Macpherson Intimates, Fayreform, Air New Zealand, New World, Pak’nSave and Four Square. She has a deep understanding of how vital it is for brands to deliver on their promises through every customer touchpoint.
After her career highlight of leading the last Air New Zealand uniform redesign and roll out, she was the first person to join the newly established CX team, where she managed the Inflight Experience, focussing on service standards, food and beverage, and cabin design. This ignited her passion for human-centered design and insights-driven CX.
After leading CX initiatives at Foodstuffs NZ, Imogen moved to Kiwibank as Head of CX, where she built a new CX team to help drive customer-centricity and experience-led design across the organisation. She has recently moved into the role of Head of Purpose Strategy at Kiwibank, combining her love for values-driven work with the opportunity to lead a Purpose-driven strategy for an organisation committed to helping Kiwi be better off.
