Brand Promises, but CX Delivers
The data shows an effective brand strategy, developed from customer insight, is essential for long term marketing effectiveness.
You've done your research, developed a compelling customer insight led brand promise and created a brand that's distinct from your competitors. So what's next? The best brand strategy in the world will fail if the organisation doesn't deliver against it. This is where CX is crucial. Your brand promise is just words until your customers experience what you are promising for themselves, but many organisations fail to make the direct connection between brand and CX leaving customers feeling let down. And a brand will never be able to deliver if its employees are not on board.
At April's Monthly Marketing Meetup, brought to you by the MA's Brand & Customer Special Interest Group, learn how you can align your external brand, your CX and your internal brand to create an experience that really delivers.
Our panel of experts will share their experience in creating cohesive brands that resonate with employees, customers and the wider public and ultimately lead to organistional success.
You’ll find plenty of opportunities to chat to everyone, share your own experiences, ask questions and discuss the topic at hand with the group.
The Monthly Marketing Meetups are proudly in partnership with Contagion.
*Stay tuned! More panellists will be announced soon.

Hind Management
(Sudima Hotels, Moss, Sunset, East & Hiku)
Dipika Patel is a digital strategist, loyalty marketer, and design-led thinker who plays a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end digital and loyalty customer experience across Hind Mangement's portfolio of brands - Sudima Hotels, Moss Spa, Sunset Rooftop Bar, East Restaurant and Hiku Restaurant.
As Digital & Loyalty Marketing Manager at Hind Management, she leads an interconnected digital ecosystem – spanning websites, third party integrations, social media and digital systems – ensuring a seamless and engaging brand journey from research and booking to check-out to in-room experiences and post stay follow-up.
With a degree in marketing and a hands-on, data-informed approach, Dipika combines brand storytelling with UX and performance strategy to drive engagement, conversion and loyalty. She was instrumental in executing Sudima Hotels re-brand across digital platforms including leading the redevelopment of the Sudima Hotels website and successfully securing executive buy-in for a major digital investment that resulted in immediate growth in 2018. She also led the launch of the MySudima loyalty programme in 2023, using insights to develop a customer-centric offering that rewards new and ongoing repeat business.
Dipika is fluent in the often jargon-heavy language of digital, and her ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights is a key strength – especially when guiding leadership teams to make informed decisions, such as evaluating SEM and SEO performance or the value of third-party tech solutions. Her approach is design-led and data-driven, and she’s known for getting hands-on with everything from UX and content strategy to creative direction and implementation.
Her talk, “The Power of Google,” at the DigiMarCon Conference held in Auckland in 2022, showcased her step-by-step method for launching websites that rank on page one within days – sparking a lively Q&A session that saw hands flying up, eager to learn more.
In 2019, Dipika was nominated for Hotel Industry Technology Employee of the Year, recognising her innovative and influential work in a fast-evolving digital space.
