Delivering on Your Brand Promise this Christmas
The end of the year is the busiest time for many marketers. After all, particularly if you're in retail, the holiday season can make or break your commercial results for the year. And with the increase in the number of shopping events towards the end of the year - Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Singles Day before we even get to Christmas - it can be just one promotion after another.
Many businesses are also recruiting extra temporary staff who may not feel close to the brand and there may be logistics hiccups due to sales volumes.
The end result may be that your customer experience starts to suffer, and you may not be fully delivering on your brand promise.
So, we've been thinking about how you can use another AI to help - not Artificial Intelligence, but Authentic Intelligence. How can you use your understanding of your brand, your customers and consumer behaviour to make sure you're still delivering on your brand and CX, while maximising the commercial outcomes?
Find out with a panel of experienced retail, CX, behavioural science and marketing professionals.
The hugely popular Monthly Marketing Meetups start and finish with networking and a few laughs over drinks & nibbles and in between you’ll enjoy practical tips and anecdotes from the frontlines of marketing.
To tie in with our Christmas theme, at this Meetup you’ll be enjoying a wine tasting hosted by our friends from Laithwaite’s Wines.
The Monthly Marketing Meetups are organised and hosted by the MA’s Special Interest Groups, and sponsored by Mosh Social Media.

Juanita Neville-Te Rito
Managing Director & Founder, RX Group
Juanita Neville-Te Rito is a highly respected retail strategist, business leader, and thought provocateur with over 30 years of experience across both Australia and New Zealand. As the founder of RX Group, a Trans-Tasman strategic retail consultancy based in Auckland, Juanita has shaped the go-to-market strategies of companies such as Woolworths, Placemakers, Life & Unichem Pharmacy, BedsRUs, BK, Farmlands, Animates among countless others.
In her time on “the other side of retail” as a C-Suite executive, Juanita has driven transformative strategies for major brands like Countdown, Woolworths, The Warehouse Group, Yum Brands (Pizza Hut, KFC), and Noel Leeming. Under her leadership many interesting things have happened in retail; onecard was launched, Mr Pencil was taken out and let’s just say there was “consolidation” in the pizza industry. She has seen and experienced, the good, the bad and the ugly.
Juanita’s extensive global networks and retail travels, combined with her broad C-suite experience, give her a unique perspective on how brands can deliver authentic customer experiences, even under the most demanding circumstances. Her practical strategies and enthusiasm for driving growth make her a compelling speaker and panellist.
