Wellington Networking Event
Case Study from MSD Love Better
Love Better: How MSD is Helping the Online Generation Navigate Love, Sex, and Relationships
Love Better is more than a campaign, it’s a long-term behaviour change strategy built on a powerful insight: that patterns formed in young relationships shape attitudes to love, sex, and relationships for life. At its core is a clear goal: to reduce the drivers of future domestic violence by reaching young people early.
But the challenge was just as clear - young people don’t listen to government agencies, and traditional marketing approaches would not work.
So they met youth on their terms, made the content feel like theirs, and kept it emotionally honest. Their approach - curativity - meant curating creative from within youth culture, not prescribing it from the outside.
The result: over 700 pieces of content in formats young people actually consume.
And it worked with more than 26 million views and engagements, and headlines in 13 countries.
Come along and see how they did it!
Don't miss this chance to catch up on the year with others in your local marketing & comms community! There’ll be networking, plus drinks & nibbles.
The Wellington Networking Event is organised by the Marketing Association's Central Regional Committee, local marketing and comms professionals volunteering their time to connect and support the local community.
Thank you to our friends at OMD, ClemengerUnltd and Verian for their support of this event.
