Peri Drysdale is the founder and CEO of sustainable lifestyle fashion brand Untouched World and Chair of the Untouched World Foundation.
The brand gained global exposure in 1999 when, US president at the time, Bill Clinton was pictured wearing an Untouched World merino shirt at an APEC conference. Another US President, Barack Obama, was later pictured wearing an Untouched World sweater.
Untouched World is the first fashion company in the world to be recognized by the UN for sustainability. The Untouched World Foundation which provides groundbreaking ‘Leadership for a Sustainable Future’ programmes for young adults, is recognised by UNESCO as one of three global exemplars in that space.
Untouched World is now sold online to over 50 countries and retails in seven countries including Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Japan.
Over the years, Peri and Untouched World Ltd have received numerous awards, including:
- In 1992 Peri was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
- In 1999, Peri was recognised as one of 100 New Zealanders who made the most significant contribution to New Zealand.
- In 2006, Peri was named North and South New Zealander of the Year.
- In 2007, Peri was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Commerce from Lincoln University.
- In 2008, Peri was the Supreme Award Winner at the World Class New Zealander Awards.
- In 2018, she was recognised for Exceptional Services to Entrepreneurship at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
- In 2019, Untouched World was awarded the UK Common Objective Brand Leader Award for setting a new standard in best practice within the global fashion industry.
- In 2021, Peri was inducted into the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame.

About Ben
Ben Reed is the Managing Director at HamiltonJet, a leading manufacturer of waterjet propulsion systems. Prior to his current role, he was a Chartered Engineer and Fellow at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). Reed holds a degree from Loughborough University of Technology, where he honed his expertise in engineering and technology.
Last year, Ben was part of the business delegation with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon visiting Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, three of the organisation’s key Asian markets. HamiltonJet employs 400 people in six countries. 350 in Christchurch, where all design, development, manufacturing and business functions reside, plus three regional offices with around 50 total staff in Singapore, London and Seattle. These support 55 distributors across the globe with parts, sales and service support.

With 10 iconic businesses, Ngāi Tahu Tourism is one of the largest tourism operators in Aotearoa, prior to COVID hosting more than one million customers a year across the experiences.
Some of their businesses include Shotover Jet, Franz Josef Glacier Guides, Dark Sky Project in Tekapo and Agrodome in Rotorua – to name just a few.
Ngāi Tahu Tourism is owned by Ngāi Tahu, the biggest iwi by population in the South Island of New Zealand. Ngāi Tahu has over 78,000 registered members who whakapapa to the iwi, making Ngāi Tahu Tourism one of the largest whānau-owned businesses in Aotearoa.
Jolanda Cave joined the Ngāi Tahu Tourism whānau in May 2016, first as Business Manager of Shotover Jet, and then in July 2017 she became General Manager of Jet Boat Operations.
Today, she provides leadership across all of the Ngāi Tahu Tourism businesses, each with their own differences, challenges and varied audiences.
Jolanda has a clear passion for, and expertise in, building capability and ensuring safety remains at the forefront of everything that the jet boat businesses do.
Prior to working at Ngāi Tahu Tourism, Jolanda was at Tourism Holdings Ltd where she worked as General Manager for Kiwi Experience and before that she held senior roles in both the inbound and outbound tourism sector as well as the cruise sector.
Jolanda’s love of the tourism industry is evident from the moment you hear her talk, she speaks with passion and conviction, and with an awareness that comes from a profound understanding of the industry.
