If you've ever set yourself a New Year's resolution, you probably know how hard it can be to stick to it.
Your plan to hit the gym three times a week - every week - goes well for the first month, starts to look a little shaky by the second month, and is a distant memory by the middle of the year.
Or you decide you're going to do more cooking at home to save money on eating out all the time. It makes sense in theory but sticking to your plan is easier said than done.
There are a few tricks to keeping these resolutions, including being realistic about what you can achieve, tackling one bad habit at a time, and rewarding yourself when you achieve a goal.
MAS has some more great ideas about how to hardwire helpful habits.
